Dusty Plains: A Crossover Rainbowcy

Generation Three, Chapter Sixteen

"We're joined today by Lazuli and Lochi Dust - the most prominent story coming out of the ill-fated SimAm Flight 627. For those that don't know, it's been fifteen years since the survivors were found and we've spent the last several weeks catching up with the families. Lazuli, you were pregnant when the accident occurred yes? What happened next?"

"Well after we got married, I gave birth to twin boys, Pelorous and Astral - and we came home. I sold my house in Caramel Canyon to move into Lochi's family home here and we lived happily ever after at the vineyard," Lazuli replied, smiling at her husband.

"Well there was a BIT more than that... we actually had three sets of twins," Lochi offered, earning a shocked look from the host and an audible gasp from the crew.

"What was the hardest part?"

"Well, finding time for ourselves," Lochi replied. "And running the vineyard with toddlers running around."

"By the time I realized I was pregnant again - they were almost off to school. The light at the end of the tunnel was really bright for a second or two," Lazuli said with a chuckle. "Don't get me wrong - Matisse and Calypso are wonderful but we'd JUST made it through the potty training and the diapers and the destruction and the biting phase... all the things that come with toddlers. I wasn't keen to do it again."

"Plus the morning sickness," Lochi reminded her, earning a jab in the stomach.

"At least we had the boys though! Pelorous and Astral have always been great big brothers - and they were old enough to be helpful," Lochi said.

"But not so old to be moody about helping," Zuli added with a smirked.

"All that extra help though meant we had more alone time... which eventually led to Danube and Juniper."

"And do you have plans for any more children?" the host asked, almost anxiously.

Lazuli laughed out loud, "where would we put them?" But Lochi merely shrugged. 

"Okay, so what's the biggest difference living here versus Caramel Canyon Lazuli?"

"Well there's winter... we don't have winter in Caramel Canyon - it's pretty much all desert and summer as far as the eye can see. I love winter!"

"Thank you for inviting us into your lovely home and catching us up. I think Lazuli summed it up best, they lived happily ever after. Until next time, goodnight!"
